Monday News- English Camp Week 2

Today our task was to get to know each other and the area we are living in. Some of us started the day with morning sports at 7am and then every one went later to enjoy the delicious breakfast at the hostel. Afterwards we divided ourselves for the Camp Olympics into small teams of five for the competitional games in the morning. We played outside at the football field games like the Teabagteamchallenge or Ropeskipping. After a short break for drinking and changing clothes we decided to do the Language Hour outside in the sun. Through playing games like Paperback and the Toaster Game we learned new words from different topics. After lunch, it was time for the scavenger hunt through Mölln. We had the most beautiful weather while visiting the town hall, the station and the park in the city centre in small groups. In the evening we had some activities with both camps together. The kids could choose between activities like climbing, walking on the slack line, archery or relaxing time while doing arts and craft, listening to music or take a walk in the woods. It was a long, sunny day with a lot of fun and everybody is looking forward to have a quiet night.What are we going to do on Tuesday?
Tomorrow morning we will start again with some games for the Camp Olympics and the activities during Language Hour. After Lunch we are going to make some cooperation games to form a greater team and get to know each other even better. We hope the weather will be as nice as today so we can be the whole day outside around the youth hostel. In the evenings we plan to do some more of the activities we offer for the whole group.
