Get to know Hamburg
Our day started quite early with breakfast and packing lunch for our day in Hamburg. We headed towards the train station at nine o’clock to be in the city centre around half past 10. The first attraction was a boat trip through the port, which took almost one hour. We saw the new philharmony, the AIDA and the big tanker, really lucky that nobody felt sea-sick. After the lunch in another youth hostel with a beautiful view over the whole port, we went to the city centre. There we started the Hamburg-Challenges, one of them was to trade an apple and a chocolate bar for something blue and round. All of the teams finished the tasks and had free time afterwards. The kids had a lot of fun to explore the city by themselves and we were happy to have some free time, too.
The day ended with pizza, vocab of the day and reflexion. All of us enjoyed the day in the city and we are tired of all the impressions we collected.
